Bostik, the adhesive solutions segment of the Arkema Group, develops specialized bonding and sealing technologies engineered to support complex vehicle assembly requirements.
Within the leisure vehicle and motorhome manufacturing sector, these high-performance materials address critical structural integrity and joining challenges across internal and external applications. Direct collaboration with equipment manufacturers, tier suppliers, and aftermarket specialists informs the formulation of solutions tailored to demanding structural conditions.
The product range encompasses advanced adhesives and sealants created specifically for body construction, exterior panel bonding, and interior fit-outs. These formulations accommodate distinct thermal expansion rates between composite panels, metals, and interior substrates, maintaining durable joints without compromising physical stability.
Specialized sealants provide long-term resistance to environmental weathering, moisture ingress, and road vibrations inherent to recreational vehicle use.
Beyond primary bodywork, these chemical solutions serve essential functions in assembling interior electronic modules, cabin fixtures, and specialized vehicle equipment. High-strength bonding agents eliminate the need for traditional mechanical fasteners, reducing overall vehicle weight while enhancing surface aesthetics and stress distribution across joined components.
Advanced research capabilities enable the development of chemical formulations that align with evolving safety and environmental standards. The resulting product portfolio includes low-emission, fast-curing compounds designed to streamline manufacturing throughput, minimize production downtime, and lower chemical exposure during assembly processes.
Through this comprehensive technical offering, Bostik delivers targeted material science solutions that enhance the structural performance, weatherproofing, and service life of modern motorhomes and RV.
